Consequences of Spam Activities
At Historical Research, we take spam activities very seriously as they disrupt the scholarly and collaborative environment that we work to cultivate. Any user found engaging in spam related actions will face immediate consequences to maintain the integrity and academic focus of our platform. First, any spam content, such as irrelevant advertisements, unsolicited promotions, or harmful links, will be promptly removed from the site. For repeat offenders or more severe violations, users may face suspension or termination of their accounts. In some cases, users may receive a warning, providing them with an opportunity to correct their behavior however, repeated offenses may lead to more severe measures. Additionally, if a user’s actions persist after suspension, we may implement an IP ban to prevent further access to the site. In cases where spam activities involve illegal actions such as phishing or spreading malware,Historical Research reserves the right to report the responsible individual to the appropriate authorities for further legal action.
